Cookie & Statistics Notice
MIAMI POOL CONSULTANTS, DOING BUSINESS AS POOL AI · LAST UPDATED: OCTOBER 2026
In short
- No advertising cookies. We don't use ad trackers or pixels.
- Google Analytics on mpcpoolai.com runs only after you tap Accept. If you tap "No thanks", nothing is sent to Google Analytics.
- Company websites and directory pages built with Pool AI count visits without cookies, and they never store your IP address.
- The apps keep a few things in your browser so they work, such as your sign-in, language and theme.
- You can change your choice at any time with the button below.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. "Local storage" is a similar space in your browser that only the website itself can read. We use both as little as possible, as described below.
2. Essential storage (always on)
These items are needed for Pool AI to work. You can't switch them off in Pool AI, but you can clear them in your browser. If you do, you'll be signed out and your settings will reset.
| What | Type | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| App sign-in token (Pool AI, Pool AI Pro, customer pages) | Local storage | Keeps you signed in. We store only a hashed copy on our server. | Until you sign out or it expires (company apps 60 days; homeowner app 180 days) |
| Language, light or dark theme, and similar display choices | Local storage | Remembers how you like the app to look | Until you clear it |
| Your cookie choice | Local storage | Remembers whether you accepted Google Analytics | Until you change it or clear it |
| Offline app files | Browser cache (service worker) | Lets installed apps open quickly and work with a weak signal | Updated with each new version |
| Connection cookie | Cookie (secure, not readable by scripts) | Used only while a company connects Gmail, Outlook or QuickBooks | 15 minutes |
| Stripe payment cookies | Cookie set by Stripe | Fraud prevention on payment forms only | Under Stripe's cookie policy |
3. Google Analytics (only if you accept)
When you first visit mpcpoolai.com or open our apps, a notice asks whether we may use Google Analytics. Only if you tap Accept, Google Analytics sets its cookies (for example _ga). It then receives your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you open, so we can count visits and see which features are used.
- We send only the page address. We never send the private link to your pool page, and we never send anything you type.
- Google Signals and ad personalization are turned off, and we don't show ads.
- If you tap No thanks, Google Analytics isn't loaded and nothing is sent to it.
- Google Analytics isn't used on company websites or in the MPC admin panel.
Google's own terms and privacy policy are linked on our Services we use page.
4. Cookie-free statistics on company websites
Company websites and directory pages built with Pool AI keep simple statistics for the company. These are daily totals of visits, quote requests and taps on Call, plus the visitor's language, device type, and the kind of site they came from (for example, a search engine).
- No cookies are set, and nothing is sent to any other company.
- Your IP address is never stored. To count unique visitors, we use a code that changes every day and is deleted the next day.
- If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, you aren't counted as a unique visitor.
- The daily totals are kept for 13 months.
5. Other services that load in your browser
- Maps. Route and map screens load map images from OpenStreetMap and a map library from unpkg.com. These services see your IP address and the area of the map being shown.
- Voice. If you tap the microphone or speaker button, your browser's own speech service is used.
- Fonts. Fonts come from our own server, not from Google.
6. How to change your choice
- Tap Change my cookie choice at the top of this page, or on our Privacy page. The notice will appear again.
- You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings. If you do, you'll be signed out of the apps.
Our Privacy Policy and Your privacy choices page have more detail.
